FEATURED ARTIST: DOC WALKER
With the November release of their third album, the five Manitoba boys of Doc Walker are stronger than ever. A steady cache of awards, nominations and accolades from earlier albums become fuel for the fire that blazes a trail for this unified group. Their self-titled new album offers up a catchy, upbeat mix of rock and pop country sounds with mass appeal. Relentless touring, tight performances and trademark harmonies define the band that has opened shows for such diverse acts as Terri Clark, Trooper and Crash Test Dummies. The release of the album (recorded in both Winnipeg and Nashville) coincides with the announcement of Doc Walker's cross-Canada tour with Dierks Bentley in January 2007. The video of their current single, Trying To Get Back To You, is currently in heavy rotation on CMT.
