Chris Buck is built for country music. Since he can remember, it’s a genre and lifestyle that’s always spoken to him. From humble beginnings on the road playing country music club after club, to the release of his Billboard Top 20 hit “That’s When You Know”, and his newest acclaimed album ‘Answers’, the Chris Buck experience is upbeat, positive, homegrown country that wastes no time in pulling in fans. From upbeat party favorite “Giddy Up” to the heartfelt friendship anthem “Thank God For Good Friends”, Chris’ utter devotion to country music shines brightly through his songs.
Chris released his third album ‘Answers’ in March 2023, his first with new label Sakamoto Music, distributed by Warner Music Canada. The album reached a million streams in it’s first few months, highlighting Chris’ growth as a songwriter and an artist. No strangerto accomplishment though, each of Buck’s three albums have broken a barrier for him, including #1 most added radio single, 6 months on SiriusXM’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” list, CCMA nominations, numerous BC Country Music Awards, and five Top 40 hits. Leading up to the release of ‘Answers’, Chris’ listenership grew by 40% across DSP’s, adding tohis over 16 million catalogue streams. In 2021 he signed a publishing deal with Anthem Entertainment, catapulting his writing career to new heights.
Ready to burst at the seams with new songs through working with Number One Hit writers in Nashville, Chris is recording music for his next release between live shows. Over the last few years, Chris has played some of Canada’s biggest festival stages in his history, including Boots & Hearts, Rockin’ River Music Fest, The Calgary Stampede,and Manitoulin Countryfest.
