About
Toronto-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jessica Sevier merges country, roots, and Americana influences with rock energy and R&B touches, creating music as edgy and raw as her lyrics. With over 2 million streams to date, Jessica is excited to release her compelling new radio single “Good To Drive” on July 4 via The Orchard.
Co-written by Jessica Sevier, award-winning singer-songwriter Robyn Ottolini and acclaimed producer Derek Hoffman (Arkells, The Trews), who also produced the track, “Good To Drive” captures the restless longing that compels someone to be constantly available for another—no matter the time or place. With its undeniable hook and sing-along appeal, the track is instantly relatable and is far from one-dimensional.
Since releasing her debut single "Ghost of Tom" in 2019, Sevier's music has amassed millions of streams. Her recent song “Motel” has already surpassed 200,000 streams, reflecting her growing career momentum. She has steadily grown her fanbase through live performances, sharing the stage with artists like Jason McCoy and Tim and the Glory Boys, and playing at top venues including Nashville’s Whisky Jam and Toronto’s Lee’s Palace. She has also showcased at Departure Festival in Toronto and was a featured artist and performer at Indie Week. Expect more releases from Sevier soon, blending strength and vulnerability in equal measure.
