Picking up a guitar at just six years old, Jimi learned the ropes from her father, the man who introduced her to the soulful riffs of blues and rock legends. Growing up in a household full of strong women, her family gave her the nickname “Jimi” a name that would define her fearless, trailblazing spirit.

Early on, Jimi drew inspiration from icons like Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Eagles, Stevie Nicks, and B.B. King, crafting her sound with the echoes of their storytelling and raw authenticity. By 16, her passion for music had already taken her to the studio, recording her first EP and experimenting with R&B and pop sounds. From Nashville to LA, and even Singapore stadiums, her debut album, What a Feeling, showcased a young artist exploring her identity in a world of ever-changing genres.

Returning to her blues-rock roots recently marked a pivotal moment in Jimi’s career. Her viral performances caught the attention of rock icon Bryan Adams, leading to an exciting co-writing collaboration to be featured in her upcoming releases. Fresh off a Western Canada tour opening for rising star Cameron Whitcomb, Jimi is bringing new energy to the blues-rock scene—fusing vintage soul with modern edge and setting the stage for an explosive new era. Bold, raw, and unapologetically real, Jimi is the next artist to watch. With her smoky voice, electrifying guitar lines, and heartfelt storytelling, Jimi is bringing the blues to a new generation—showing the world a depth and honesty it hasn’t seen before.
