Animated band Prozzäk defined Canadian pop consciousness at the turn of the millennium with their smash multi platinum albums, Hot Show and Saturday People. The duo of Simon and Milo were the brainchild of creators Jay Levine and James Bryan McCollum, two members of the critically acclaimed act, The Philosopher Kings. Their songs, including hits “Sucks To Be You”, “Strange Disease”, and “www.nevergetoveryou”, followed Simon’s search for love around the globe, and garnered 6 JUNO nominations.
In 2005, Prozzak self released their third album Cruel Cruel World released, before pursuing individual projects. James wrote and produced with top global artists rom Drake to Shawn Mendes to Nelly Furtado, while Jay worked in New York and LA as a music executive.
In the summer of 2015,Prozzäk performed as old-out reunion show at the Atomic Lollipop festival in Toronto and Jay and James were inspired to revive the band , releasing their fourth album “Forever 1999”, in 2017. Fans embraced new songs like “Love Me Tinder” and “Love Fools Anonymous”, and Prozzak performed for nearly 10,000 fans on their Canadian tour later that year.
In 2018, Prozzak and 90s act Aqua(“Barbie Girl”) put together the Rewind Tour, playing across Canada to 50k + fans. In Prozzak thought they were ready to retire and performed the Never Get Over You tour across Canada for 15,000 fans. Since Covid, Jay and James decided to bring Prozzak back, headlining Edmonton Pride Fest in 2023 and playing a sold out show at Wake the Giant Fest in 2025 opening for the Black Eyed Peas . Prozzak is back and coming to a town near you!
