About
When The Abrams play live, they perform with an explosive energy, honed over two decades of experience in front of audiences around the world. Starting as a fourth-generation family bluegrass band, this country music duo made up of brothers John and James Abrams, have been performing since they were 11and 9 years old, respectively. The Abrams have headlined their own tours worldwide, and have opened for Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Tom Cochrane and The Chicks.
As young musicians, they were recognised as International Peace Ambassadors between the West and the Middle East by the Daniel Pearl Foundation.
After an early appearance on the Grand Ole Opry, The Abrams’ career launched to new heights, signing deals in Canada and the United States. Most recently, with the release of two EPs on Warner Music Canada, which generated multiple Top 40 Canadian country radio hits as artists and a Top 20 hit as songwriters. The Abrams music videos have achieved heavy video rotation on CMT and CMT Pure Country.
This past year, The Abrams have focused on rebuilding their sound from the roots up. Their new music blends the mountain sound that defined their early songwriting and recording years spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains, with modern pop-country beats and textures, creating a fresh country-music fusion The Abrams call “Mountain Pop.” Having collaborated with some of Nashville’s top hit songwriters, the new songs capture how John and James are both young and old souls; time-tested and authentic, with a catchy fire and energy.
